To be able to pick out selected stories from different RSS feeds and offer these as one feed, I've been forced to create a new unique RSS feed. The feed is actually in .xml format and will soon be used as the story of the day.
The first selected feed is the London Art story that Carsten Höller will be the next artist to fill the Turbine Hall in Tate Modern.
The feed is: www.littlerss.com/rss/tate-modern.xml
I've used 3 different news feeds and taken out the relevant story.
I assume that this will also be a good tool to create a link to a story without having to worry about it being removed.
Is this a normal practice for RSS readers?

I don't often watch Dart but this evening I switched on the TV and found it really entertaining. I soon discovered that it was the World Championship Final and decided to watch it all.
To my surprise, both finalists were Dutch which might not be surprising for a Dart enthusiast but it was to me. I had earlier this week been collecting RSS feeds from Dutch Newspapers and most of them had Dart on the front pages and I finally got the explanation why.
Anyway, after a nail biting final, the youngster Klaasen won and looked more schocked then happy. I have a feeling that the Dutch papers will go mad about it so take a look at these RSS feeds to see how the saga develops.
In Dutch from the Netherlands:
De Volskrant: Sport nieuws
Algemeen Dagblad: Sportwereld
De Telegraaf: Telesport
NRC - Handelsblad: Sport
In English:
The Guardian: Sport
Daily Telegraph: Sport
Daily Mail: Sport
The Mirror: Sport

Here is a selection from the wonderful and absurd world of the Yahoo! Email Groups. Almost every topic possible can be found and you can easily follow the discussions of your interest.
You might ask why you would need a RSS feed from a group which is made up from emails?
My first reaction was that emails are only good when you can get to your emails quickly. Then there is the promotion of your Yahoo! Group and if you want to invite new members. Next reason is if you only want to look at the group occasionally and don’t like to get thousands of emails to organise. A quick RSS feed on a website will solve all problems so well done to Yahoo! for offering this service!
If you’re setting up a group, just remember to make your group public or you will not get a feed for your group at all.
Any groups suggested will be included in this menu so continue to send in your recommendations to theteam@littlerss.com.

( 3 / 907 )Happy New Year and a Daily Comics Feed
Saturday, December 31, 2005, 03:59 PM - About Little, About Little
Let us end the year with something fun and thanks to perturb.org , we have 7 daily comic strips as one single RSS feed. The 7 comics strips are AdamHome, CalvinandHobbes, Dilbert, Foxtrot, NonSequitur, Sinfest and PvP.
As always there must be more comic strips out there but this feed was very quick and easy to find. I had a look at Dilbert's official website but the longwinded registration process made me give up even before any RSS feeds were mentioned.
If you know of any other good comedy RSS feeds, let us know.
Happy New Year,
The Little RSS team
